Job Responsibilities:
- Secure and review via download or list of all open and approved Purchase Requisitions for conversion Send and receives RFQ/RFP/RFI from potential suppliers
- To generate accurately and on time Purchase Orders based on the correct and approved Purchase Requisition Ensure delivery of the goods and services ordered by liaising with concerned Suppliers, Requestors and Logistics Staff
- Accurately generate Purchase Orders based on approved Purchase Requisitions (Contracted and Non Contracted Goods and Services) Monitor and follow up Approval of Purchase Orders, if necessary
- Ensure timely sending of all and only approved Purchase Orders to respective suppliers Assist in the resolution of procurement and supplier concerns (ie requests, payment, etc) Manage local budgets and contribute to Company targets
- Ensure (sourcing, purchasing, company) Procedures and Policies adherence Keeps Procurement Manager informed of all Procurement concerns and important issues
- To serve as an informational hub for materials knowledge in the company Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Relevant university degree and/or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge in Procurement / Logistics and / or Transport an advantage Relevant work experience in the field of business, logistics, or transport an advantage Procurement background an advantage
- Can converse in English is an advantage Knowledge on ERP Systems
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word
