Job Scope:

  • Preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and taxation summaries
  • Accurately complete financial statements and income tax returns primarily for SMSF’s but also for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals as required
  • Large component of the role will be processing and managing SMSFs
  • Consider and implement taxation planning for tax minimisation
  • Preparation of BAS, IAS and TBAR returns
  • Build and maintain client relationships over time
  • Preparation of clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed
  • Prepare tax planning and investment strategy reports for clients demonstrating a high degree of competency in these areas
  • Assess complex tax matters for review by senior team members
  • Identify areas to improve the state of file or data collection and implement improvement measures for the next opportunity to complete the client’s work
  • Appropriately scope all work for job completion and develop plan for completion

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA qualification is a plus
  • 3 or more years of experience in Australian Accounting and Tax system
  • Excellent communicator able to give clear written and verbal communication to everyone
  • You thrive on using your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to identify and solve issues before they arise
  • You can work in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and prioritization skills and sense of urgency to address critical business issues
  • You see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, Xero and familiarity with BGL 360 is a plus
  • Ability to learn new systems and tools as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php65,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month
